Designing the Soluna Collection

Welcome back to Studio Stories — and welcome to Soluna!

The Inspiration:

If Araw was about looking outward, rooted in history and pride, then Soluna is about looking inward.

After the success of the Araw Collection, I was ready to explore deep within my own intuition and internal experience with just a touch of mysticism. I wanted to introduce a sense of whimsy into my work, but without losing the clean, grounded energy that’s always been part of Letti (and really, me). I knew I wanted to work with natural stones for my next collection. I’ve always loved Moonstone, but it was Lapis Lazuli, a deep blue I stumbled on while browsing gemstones, that sealed the concept. That is when these scattered thoughts started forming a full, fleshed-out story.

The name Soluna is a blending of two Latin-derived words: Sol, meaning “sun,” and Luna, meaning “moon.” Together, they symbolize duality. Sun and moon, light and dark, feminine and masculine. This collection exists where those forces meet — and where something new begins to take shape.

The Design Process:

I designed one central piece to anchor this entire collection: a rectangular charm with softened edges and a single stone set at its base. It’s a simple silhouette — intentional, architectural — created to frame the stone without overpowering it. That was the whole point. Let the stone speak.

Each one represents something deeply personal to me (and hopefully to you, too):

Onyx is the dark half of Soluna. Not dark in a negative way, but the kind that holds you steady. The stillness in the storm. It’s about being rooted, focused, unshaken.

Moonstone is the light. Soft, feminine, fluid. It catches glimmers of color in the right light, like a secret only you get to see. A quiet kind of hope.

Lapis Lazuli is the in-between. Bold and expressive, but grounded. A blue that feels cosmic and earthy at the same time. The voice, the truth-teller.

Until now, I’ve mostly stuck to metals, neutrals, and clean lines — things I still love. But adding color through these stones felt like an opening. A way to step further into myself — and invite the Letti community to help define what we can become

The Collection:

Soluna includes both pendants and earrings, offered in jewelry-grade stainless steel or 18K gold PVD plating. Everything is hypoallergenic, tarnish-resistant, waterproof, and sweatproof — made to last.

Each charm holds a single natural stone, framed in a sleek, modern setting that lets the meaning shine through. Whether you choose natural Onyx, Moonstone, or Lapis Lazuli, each piece is meant to be worn like a modern talisman. Not loud, but full of intention.

At its core, Soluna is about duality and learning to live in the in-between. It’s a small collection, but its meaning is ever-expanding. I hope it brings you something when you wear it: grounding, light, or truth. Whatever you need most right now.

Thank you for being here. <3
